Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR KLIEVER November 4, 1927 May 20, 2007 Arthur passed away suddenly but peacefully with his family by his bedside. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Freida Elsie; daughters, Sharlene (Christopher and Kyra), Lori and husband Jon (Stephan and Matthew) and Cheryl and husband Ron (Jeremy and Jadin); sisters, Kay (Frank) and Marianne; brother Victor (Lilly); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Maria, sister Betty and brother Walt. Arthur graduated with a B.TH. from M.B.B.C. in 1958. He pastored his first church in Ochre River, MB followed by McDermot Avenue Baptist Church. He then pastored Edenwold Baptist Church in Saskatchewan which led to a church planting in Balgonie, SK. From there he pastored Oakbank Baptist Church and then to Beausejour. He moved to St. Andrews, MB where he planted the Selkirk Community Church. The family wish to thank Dr. R. R. Lindenschmidt and staff at the Selkirk General Hospital. Special thanks to Val and Amanda. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritans Purse (Operation Christmas Child). Friends and relatives may call for viewing at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 6088 PTH 9A, Selkirk with viewing at the church one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at a later date in the St. Clements Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
